Frequently Asked Questions

  • We greatly appreciate the amazing Spanish teachers working in classrooms across America! They’re a big part of the language-learning puzzle, and some of them have had amazing impacts on some of our lives as tutors. That said, there are limits to what can be accomplished in conventional classroom settings alone.

Most students who take Spanish classes for several years in high school and college never manage to even get above a pre-intermediate language level. This is because most conventional classroom courses lack strong, consistent progression in their curriculum, and they don't give enough intensive conversation and targeted reading practice. In general, they focus too much on grammar exercises, and not enough one-on-one interaction. Where normal classes just don't cut it, we can fill in the gaps and help you elevate your Spanish into something you can use more meaningfully!

  • It’s our strong belief that, in fact, anyone can learn any language at just about any stage of life! Having the proper guidance, motivation, perseverance, and a scientifically sound approach… these things are critical to language learning success.

The path from total beginner to fluent, advanced speaker is NOT a short or particularly easy one. It IS, however, a very straightforward, fun, and interesting process. Learning Spanish is a challenging and rewarding journey, and one that you’ll be glad you chose to undertake.
